….a damp Katherine JenkinsI mean we had the Queen jumping out of a helicopter (kinda) and James Bond, but we didn’t have a damp Katherine Jenkins belting out GSTQ from the top of Battersea Power Station so they’ve got us there
From an online articleWhile I agree with the general point that other countries views of London 2012 may vary from ours (I once read a snippet of a Chinese article which described the games in general as one of the worst of all time), I'm not sure those are the best examples. Mr Bean, Bond and the Queen are up there as the most internationally well known and popular cultural exports/symbols to have come from Britain. I expect all the NHS and Industrial Revolution stuff probably raised more eyebrows abroad.
My son rates Gojira.f*** me, this is shite.
Now, try this. Name me 5 really good French bands of the last decade. I can think of only one (that I like). Little Nemo.
Edit, 2. Asylum Party.
What a mess of a country.

My son rates a couple of other bands (that he's seen). OK there are a few. But I can name just as many from Sheffield. My son rates Gojira.
To be fair, it's not fair to hold up whole countries to the musical mecca that is Sheffield. My son rates a couple of other bands (that he's seen). OK there are a few. But I can name just as many from Sheffield.
It's probably the unpopular opinion but it's been decentBooooooooo
