It's not a given....
So our hopes are now that she simply falls over
It's not a given....
Yes, but KJT is potentially 4-5s faster than her in the 800m.Anything over 47m is likely to give Thiam the lead. That’s well within her capabilities.
Me too, so long as I can borrow your keyboard.Still one of my all time favourite games. I’d love to give it another go.
See Bozza's depressing post.Yes, but KJT is potentially 4-5s faster than her in the 800m.
That was based on PB's though. Thiam is only recently returned from a long injury lay off, and unlikely to threaten her PB. The current lead is worth about 7 seconds (I think).See Bozza's depressing post.

That's a big ifIf Thiam doesn't throw further, then it is game on.
Second attempt is a foul.So that's why she's been so shit
That's a big if
Going to need 7-8 secs as things standYes, but KJT is potentially 4-5s faster than her in the 800m.
That is in the context of GB gold medals being snatched away at the death, not KJT being a bottler. Sorry for any confusion.

Third attempt is shorter.Second attempt is a foul.
Third attempt is shorter.
They'll run at the same time. KJT will need to finish 7* seconds quicker to win.Shane get first throw was so good. Will she run the 800 first?
Their PBs are about 6 seconds apart so it’s not impossible.7 seconds over 800 m is massive.
Not gonna happen is it, unless Thiam trips up over her shoelaces or does her hammy on the startline.
I've looked at the points table just now but don't really know how this works - presumably she'd have to finish a similar time behind Kaelin or Vidts to lose the silver? They'll run at the same time. KJT will need to finish 7* seconds quicker to win.
*I haven't actually seen the exact figure yet
When KJT won the world title in 2019 she was around 11 seconds ahead of Thiam, but KJT went into that in the lead. Slightly different scenario this time around.7 seconds over 800 m is massive.
Not gonna happen is it, unless Thiam trips up over her shoelaces or does her hammy on the startline.
Its not a straight line graph, but yes - she'd have to finish MILES behind one of those to drop below them. If she goes anywhere near her PB then they'd have to run a completely unrealistic time.I've looked at the points table just now but don't really know how this works - presumably she'd have to finish a similar time behind Kaelin or Vidts to lose the silver?
