Pardew has never been popular until last season and why on earth would reading want to keep a manager there who doesn't want to be.

Yes pardew should be punished in other ways, but to be honest its best they let him go as like most say its no diffrent from any of us getting offered a much better job.

You can just imagine the reception he would get as West Ham are playing Reading on Sat. They have announced the assistant manager is now in charge.

I read that Reading had lined up Lawrie Sanchez from Wycombe

Very not possible. The man will be sent to the gallows as soon as he enters the A33. He will never be Reading manager as there are too many people that hate him at our club, despite him being a Reading fan and player. He's a boring bastard who moans too much. And he's a gash manager too!

wilts when are u coming to JPM??, and whats your name so I can look u up in the jpmorgan global address list.

It will be funny to see what Madjeski has to say for himself if he has lined up Sanchez as Pardew's successor.

Poacher turned gamekeeper methinks

I can't help thinking that Madejski is cutting his nose to spite his face here. I don't suppose he would have though twice about terminating Pardew's contract at a moments notice had their results been dire this season. He can't have it both ways. My sympathies are with Pardew on this one. He's quit and they should accept that they lost his loyalty and let him go with good grance and try and get a decent compensation from West Am ( altho isf I was the West Am chairman I wouldn't pay a penny)

Sir Dodger Royal supports another team. He ain't no Royal...

:lolol:

Having worked with the bloke I can assure you that not only is he a Reading fan, but he and his son also hold season tickets in the West Stand.

Seems to me he's been right about the Vicar all along;)
