Another couple of million in the bank , dances off into yet another footballing madness sunset .

The problem now is we get him back as a pundit on Sky in a couple of months when they (Sky) think we’ve all forgotten what a crap manager and all round nob he is.

The fact managers like Pardew keep getting seven-figure salary jobs, louse it up in no time and simply move on to the next one is madness. Wouldn’t happen in another industry to the same extent.

Good. Hopefully the new manager might help them get some points off our rivals. They still have Swansea, Newcastle and Palace to play.

That’s a good thought - I’m happy for West Brom to be cast adrift, but the time comes when we are better suited by them taking out the other at risk teams
