Parade of the Heroes

Just gone past the office - hardly an epic turn out (250k people my arse! I think the police are outnumbering spectators). Couple of flat bed lorries with the athletes on. John Inverdale and Claire Balding in attendance. Couple of bag pipe players turning the wrong way at the bottom of Haymarket. All off to Trafalgar Square now for a bit of a boogie before tea with the queen... maybe.

All very nice, but not comparable to the Rugby parade.

No sign of the quitter either...

To be honest typical of the GB olympic organisation i had no idea it was taking place not on the news or anything before hand

I went down to Haymarket about 2pm to get a sandwich and there were alot of police, not many spectators.
