BBC Sport - Football - Football League to meet over parachute payments
So he wants to double the length of time of parachute payments for clubs who are relegated making it even less of a level playing field but that's okay because everyone gets more money? I've not ever read anything so ridiculous.
Premier League clubs will discuss plans to double the amount of parachute payments from two to four years at their annual general meeting in June.

Richard Scudamore, chief executive of the Premier League, said: "It's a genuine attempt to help the Football League after our international TV rights turned out to be better than we expected.
"By doing it this way, everyone is better off, including the non-parachute clubs who would then share the Football League's TV money between them."

Premier League clubs will discuss plans to double the amount of parachute payments from two to four years at their annual general meeting in June.
Sky Sports News chief news reporter Bryan Swanson understands it's one of a number of options under review.
The discussions are part of the Football League Solidarity Deal - which is discussed every three years.
The solidarity money for the Football League includes parachute payments, youth development and community projects.
At the moment any relegated club receives £12million a year for two seasons.
That figure is likely to increase to £16million a season, whatever is decided in June.
Clubs that would benefit from a doubling of the parachute payment would include Portsmouth, who could be relegated to the Championship this weekend.
