I think they are only allowed to open at a much more reduced capacity than that. I'm off to The Hawth to watch some comedy and I think they are only open up to around 30% capacity maximum. For pantos, unless the stars are going to take a huge pay cut, I can't see them being viable at such reduced income.
We go to the one at City Hall in Sheffield every year.

It's an amateur production so the tickets just cover costs and charity donations.

It is absolutely superb and a Sheffield institution. Far better than the "posh" one round the corner at the Lyceum which always involves some Z listers who I've never heard of.

Hopefully, even with reduced capacity, they will still be able to put it on. We've been going for the last 9 years (usually me, my mum and the nipper who still loved it age 13).
