Anyone on here collecting these for their kids (or themselves!) and looking for swaps?!

Both my boys have an album and a bucket load of swaps now as hardly anyone at their school seem to be collecting them. It’s getting very expensive!

It's a dying industry. This is probably the final way it can make money before it dies off completely.

Either enjoy it while it lasts, or don't, nobody is making anyone buy them.

Its hay day was the 70's/80's. The family sold the business in the late 80's.

It was much easier to complete a book when every other kid had a swap . . . .

I know it is a bit of a mugs game but the kids love it and I still get the memory of that excitement of opening a pack I got 25/30 years ago.

Any Brighton player is always greeted with a massive cheer and the Brighton swaps are now stuck on various lamp posts around where we live alongside the NSK ones which appeared a few years ago!

We’re collecting for two albums worth for my five year and seven year olds so have PLENTY of swaps available and still need about 180 each. They’re at the stage though where they hardly get any they need in the packs.

WBA too, I could literally redecorate my lounge with our WBA swapsie mountain.

Southampton too, Nathan Tella he's literally in every other pack we buy... I think we've spent about £500. lol.

I've got about 60 to go and probably 200+ duplicates that I'd be very happy to do some swapping with fellow collectors on here.

Loved doing them as a kid and if it was about £100 an album even at that crazy price I'd probably go for it. Seeing all the stories of £500 and being halfway though makes me very glad I've until now managed to avoid any little seagulls wanting to do them as that would probably tip me over the edge.
