Can you not read Tinx's post?

Err Yes but it's the equivilent of saying;

The files are stored somewhere on your PC and you have to rename them form something to get them to work.

Personally I've installed Padoras Jar which does rip the music off into mp3 for me but it's not getting all the tracks. It only works with about 50-60% of the tracks played. It also took a lot more setting up than simply re-naming files from a temp directory somewhere?!?!

Obviously you know how to do this so please share it with the class...

Ali, are you using Firefox?

If you are then you need to look at the temp files for firefox after a track you want has played, rename one you're after and move it to your music folder.

Where are these temp files? Where is this set?

I dont know if im using firefox, how do i find out?

(im not really a computer whizz)

Go to the Help->About on your menu.

If it says firefox you're in. To be honest if you're not sure then you're probably not as you would have had to install it yourself at some point.

To get it simply type firefox into Google, download and install. When it installs it will give you the option to import all your favourites from Internet Explorer so it's fairly painless.

The tmep files route only works up until version 1.5.0.1 of firefox any older than that you need to use pandora jar.

The latest version of pandora jar works very well and even renames the tracks for you as well.

Do you mean works AFTER 1.5.0.1 BEFORE that use Pandoras Jar

or

Do you mean works BEFORE 1.5.0.1 AFTER that use Pandora's Jar?

Also;

WHERE ARE THE TEMP FILES LOCATED?

basically if you are using firefox 1.5 then the temp files ar eno longer easily findable so you need to use pandoras jar. If you ar eusing an older version simply do the following:-

click start -> Run

in the box type %temp%

This will bring up your temp directory and in there will be directories called something like plugtmp- and then a number find the highest number and look in this directory if it is empty you need to use something like pandoras jar if there ar efiles in there they will be mp3s just not named as such so rename it to something.mp3 and you will be able to play them.
