Pancake Day is a moveable feast, taking place each year the day before the start of Lent. It can fall anywhere between 3rd Feb and 9th March, always exactly 46 days before Easter Sunday, which is the first Sunday following a full moon after the spring equinox.

I just made us American style pancakes, we prefer them.

Served with Maple Syrup, my daughter added defrosted strawberries to hers.

Delicious, they turned out well.
