I heard they are going to groundshare in Milton Keynes.

Anyway, if they move to the Sports Centre, I hope they have seriously improved the roads around there or it would be a nightmare when a big team like Brighton comes to play.

paulie, as Ozymandius stated, we wouldn't wish what has happened to us on our worst enemy. Rivalry is one thing, wishing another team to go through what we have in the last 10 years is something completely different.

Today is the 10th anniversary of the Fans United game, it is a salutory reminder of what can happen to a football club when everything goes wrong. There were Palace fans at the Goldstone on that day, be reassured that if the same thing looked like happening to our greatest rivals we would stand with you in opposition.

indeed... it is unfortunately too much to expect that Jordan turns out to be a complete crook and ruins Palace the way that Archer ruined the Albion...

it isn't wrong of me to hope that it could be true though is it?

Exactly right. We do hate your comedy club Paulie but not to the extent we want to see you homeless.

But why so slavishly loyal to the orange spiv? He might be a fan but when someone talks as much as he does you know 99 per cent of it's bluster. Something's going on and you can't just blame it on "papers that don't like us".

If you want to move - fine. But don't make the mistake of trusting him to do the right thing for your club - you need to scrutinise every step he takes.

That`s the intention We need to redevelop Selhurst or move on. The difference is we will move on to better things where as Brighton have not.

The only circumstance I would ever support the unwashed hoardes of caravan dwellers, would be to keep them as rivals (so we can always feel better about ourselves).

Even filth has a place in this world, so I'd help fight for their existence.

I feel like I need a shower just saying that.

Just out of interest, what is Simon Jordan's history before he bought Palace, was he a lifelong fan that regularly stood on the terraces as a boy or did he develop a sudden liking for the club when it became available to buy?

He was a Palace Fan before buying the club.

If you read my earlier post I think you'll find that I'm not slavishly loyal to Jordan. It's fine Brighton fans, f**king Guardian journalists and Readingstockport having a pop, but Jordan has earnt a certain amount of trust.

He saved us in 2000 and he bought the ground in 2006. Of course we will need to watch him, but we don't have to assume we are being f**ked over like you were.

Consider he wants to help the club progress? I know that's a hard concept for you lot longing for any negative about him to be true, but it might just be the case. Re-read Rougvie's contribution.

To answer someone else - Jordan is a couple of years younger than me and used to go with friends of a friend in the early 80s when we were 16-18.

I am not having a pop. I happen to know some palace fans very well indeed and they are extremely concerned and they know a f***ing sight more about Jordan and his business dealings than you seem to. You seem content to allow him to say he has bought the ground, he hasn't and I can provide you the details if you want but they are only the documents - which Jordan has acknowledged the truth of - that Conn used in his article last week and you don't want to believe that.

Now in your case Paulie I couldn't give a shit quite frankly but for other palace fans I do have some concern. If you want to continue to think Jordan owns the ground you carry on. You are wrong. FACT.

It's entirely up to you. You can accept jordans word for it or you can check for yourself, I'll even give you the name of the people who are registered at the land registry as owning SP.

Your f***ing choice.

Now i'm not going to pretend that Jordan is a Saint because history tells us different but without question what he is most definitely is 100% Palace and i understand Brighton fans wanting to think the worst of the bloke and hoping he will screw Palace over but it just isn't going to happen, genuine football fans are sorry for what Archer and Belotti done to your club but don't lump Jordan in with people like them who couldn't give two fucks for Brighton or football.

Palace have had planning problems before with both Croydon Council and the local residents under Noades so the sensible thing surely is to look at alternative sites if the same thing occurs again?

The National Sports Centre rumour has been around for quite a while now and is Jordan's favourite option but whether or not he is using it as a scare tactic to Croydon council to take Palace out of the borough who knows, but yes Jordan is a businessman and yes he likes the colour of money but above all that he is Palace through and through and there lies the difference IMHO.

How do you think Palace fans would feel about playing at the NSC or in Redhill, say? Would that be better than a tarted-up Selhurst?

I don't want him to f*** you lot over, far from it - there's been far too much of that in football already. Just watch him though!

Mate I would love it if Palace moved to Redhill i live there! But Palace fans would be in uproar CPFC is a South London club and it has to stay in the area. The other site mentioned is the old ground at The Nest right next to Selhurst Station. These rumours of relocating have escalated since the Freehold was purchased so whether or not they are fact or fiction is anyone's guess to be honest.

NSC would be ok as pretty central to our fan base. The infrastructure around there would need some work. A developed Selhurst would be best, but may not be possible. Redhill wouldn't be ideal, Coulsdon OK.

A redevloped Selhurst would be nice but the whinging fucks around the ground who don`t even like football but yet decide to move right on top of the stadium keep getting in the way.

Hence why he is looking at alternative sites
