Ok lets talk the following season, which is even more crucial with FFP coming in.
You are going to pay back the directors, they have said they have put in £10 miill to cover losses.(Which could be £15mill by then)
You are going to rebuild Selhurst.
You have started already increasing player wages with Murray, do you think the likes of Jedinak and Speroni won't want some of the same. The spiral has started.
Your crowds have only increased significantly when it is a Groupon day, bring a mate for fiver or Family days, kids for a quid, like todays game. That's not extra revenue, it is papering over the poor attendance cracks.
Where is the revenue coming from to cover having only three sides to the ground if you ever do start to rebuild Selhurst.
£15m over 3 years. £5m a year, the debts would be wiped out by Zaha's sale.

They also may have debts, but they own a top 4 Championship football team, an academy and a ground, for very little expenditure.

We was getting 12-13k through the door last year at times, it's been consistently 16-18k this season, with more for big games.

If 2-3 mill is the figure then there will have been some serious manipulation. Enough maybe for an auditing company to resign?
When a company changes auditors, it is usual to ask the old auditors to resign. It's the proper technical term for it.

Completely untrue I'm afraid.

According to you, by inference, your attendances have increased by an average of 4-5000 over the past season.

According to the official league attendance records however your current average is 16772 as opposed to last year's average of 15219.

That's an increase of just 1553. Pretty poor when you consider the success your team had enjoyed and these figures must really disappoint your owners who must believe by now that there is only a small appetite for football in that area.

I notice that you failed to mention the spiralling wages you are now paying.

Where the money comes from for the rebuild of Selhurst.

The financial impact of only having a three sided stadium, while at least, the three falling down stands are being rebuilt.
It all looks plain sailing to me

Dont know why I am getting drawn into this.

But we also got rid of a few high earners like Ambrose.

But this is how all clubs do thier bussiness by buying and selling players wages go up in some cases and down in others, thats the way it is.

We have had a 3 sided ground before and we can do it again I really dont think it will matter that much (Arsenal played with one for a couple of seasons, Watford play in one at the moment)

I would say myself that the two ends at Selhurst are OK and even the AW is better than the away stands at both Watford and Peterbourgh, so its not all doom and gloom, allthough no one would deny the whole ground need a bit of TLC, but I really dont know how a club that played at the Withdean for 10 years have the gall to point at others !!

Are you really comparing the circumstances of playing at Withdean with not maintaining your own ground? Really?

Not too intelligent was it. And as for 'gall' surely Brighton fans are free to discuss their rivals on a Brighton forum. If not, weird!

I'm expecting a £3-5m loss.

Which will be lower when announced again in 12 months time, with or without the Zaha money.

Sounds about right as you had a cup run. This current season should show a profit with the money from Winifred.

At least Withdean wasn't falling down around our ears.

But without improving your revenue, you have begun paying more than Ambrose was getting. How does this fit with "we must live within our means", the reason people like Ambrose were released.

Again does this fit with the CPFC2010 promise to fans "we will run this club within its means"?

We have had a 3 sided ground before and we can do it again I really dont think it will matter that much (Arsenal played with one for a couple of seasons, Watford play in one at the moment)

How can you possibly compare Palace with Arsenal, they don't or ever did give free season tickets to kids, have Groupon days and family days of kids for a quid.
Watford do have the advantage of only having to rebuild one stand unlike the Palace three.

I understand that under the Holmesdale is a lake. increasing in size, that is making the stand sink.
Because no matter how shit Withdean was, we paid for the improvements to be able to use it, we also paid the rent, unlike the club up the road after ripping everyone off, they then purchase their ground back for less than we paid to improve Withdean.

Still with the promise from the fab four about giving you a new 40k all seated stadium soon, all the comments about Bloom and our debts could be on the other foot. I will look forward to that.

Some palace fans clearly feel this is not a BRIGHTON board and take it upon themselves to tell us what we can and cannot discuss :lolol:

You paint a rosy picture of a very well run entity.

Point one, the academy, infrastructure, and maintenance of a Championship position in the first place, was built on a lie .... That is, expenditure far exceeded income, giving yet another insolvency. The insolvency robbed the public purse and local suppliers and employees of their financial dues.

Then in the Parrish era, to run consistent multi £m losses is not good business. The Albion and almost all Football League clubs do the same, but in any ones book, that's poor business.

The Zaha windfall coming along much later is just luck, and could not be part of the Parrish business plan of 2010.

Bottom line, CP2010 is a business running consistent £m losses, with poor income, almost non existent corporate income, and a rusting main asset.

I think it is showing as submitted now - why the delay? Who knows? The directors state they were in on time so?

I don't know how to view the results or even what i would be looking at - can barely work out my own bank statement! I assume one of you guys have had a thorough read through? What is the sp?

You're screwed.

Ah well, I guess it was on the cards with all that money we have been spending on players and new facilities.

Honestly have no idea, financial stuff is beyond me. I would however love to know how much you are buying Dobbie for and what he's being paid. Looking at BBS they are not in the slightest bit happy with him and that makes me happy, goes some way to redress the wrong regarding Judas.

I'm just grateful we don't have to rely on a dodgy bank to lend us the money but someone who loves the club...Do you have anyone like that helping your club? no? just a couple of orange guys who'd look better sitting in a fruit bowl, which is ironic considering that your current owner is a fruitcake!

I'm sorry what? Dodgy bank? The owners of the club are all extremely sucessful businessmen and fans of the club. They have put in place a sound financial structure to safeguard the future of the club after the events of the Goldberg and Jordan eras. Orange guys? Is this some sort of code? We don't have an owner but a group of owners so maybe stipulate which one is the fruitcake?

Where is it reported taht we have agreed to buy Dobbie? Or indeed any details of his half season loan to us? I have only seen this on these boards.

It is a done deal, if CPFC2010 back out now it would show them up for what they are. It was only ever a 93 day emergency loan because you cannot register for 3 clubs in any one season.
