Got to admire Palace's display last night.

But, as someone who has taken on Wolves as a second team since moving here 7 years ago, I would like to add...

HENESSEY OUT

Hey eagle bollocks.

Why are you on an Albion site when your own team is playing?

Fcku orrfffff.

John makes a post on an Internet forum at 5pm. It takes him an hour to get from Horley where he made the post to Selhurst Park. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.

Is it possible for John to be at home at 5pm and still make the game?

Well is it, genius?

as for pappa jaffa
how can you take seriously the opinion of someone who uses an american baseball teams logo on an albion notice board.

A very reasoned debate. Though what that's got to do with it..........

So check the poll this morning. Your claims about everyone wanting Palace to go under must be making your teenage spots pop with anger.

Anyway. That's how you deal with Premiership opposition in the Cup. Passion in abundance from players, manager and fans. A belief that you can do well individually and as a team. No glory-hunting fans either.

You lot seem to have spent the evening mostly fighting amongst yourselves. Helter Skelter particularly showed himself up as a nasty individual.

This is good news. Usually when small clubs advance this far in the FA Cup it comes at the expense of their league form. See you in League One next season Palace.

All things considered I reckon the Scum deserve a round of applause.

I'd go along with that. Would be very surprised if they win at the weekend too

Scunny away for us this weekend. I can't see us not getting anything out of the game, you have to bear in mind that Moses is the only player gone from a team that would be 1 point off the playoffs if it wasn't for the pesky administration.

Cracking Palace performance yesterday.

Twas indeed.

It's nothing to do with the team or (lack of) players, I just think that a team that does well in the FA Cup midweek, tends to struggle in their next League match. I.e. Leeds who didn't win for a month after beating Man Utd.

We had a decent performance against Villa but we have not been too clever since.

HENESSEY OUT

I actually thought Henessey was unlucky last night. Made a great save for the first before Butterfield got to the rebound. The second went under him but he was left exposed by awful defending for both the second and third. One of the Wolves players actually stopped and gave up for the third. As much as it pains me to say it, Palace thoroughly deserved their victory last night and I can't remember Speroni making a save.

Can't believe people seriously want Palace to go bust. I missed the matches of the 70s and 80s as only began watching in 1990 but having had a taster of both winning and losing with the awful 5-0 and the McShane winner I would love us to be on an equal footing for a while and play them regularly for a few seasons (before we move well clear). The only team I actually want to go bust is MK Dons (even Man U I only want to drop to Conference North).

To be fair though I am sure you could find some equally unpleasant and abusive Palace fans when asked about Brighton. All football clubs and internet forums attract their share of idiots.

Yes. It is true.

And usually their fellow supporters sort it out.

Every village has one Herbicide!

I won't go as far as saying good luck against Villa, but hope you enjoy the match against them as much as we did. The irony is that I suspect if we had beaten Villa Selhurst would be sold out Saturday week for a game between two teams at the arse end of the second and third divisions.
