Goes to show if you do get to the PL, you have to invest big in wages/fees on quality like Swansea or S'ton, or you'll be embarrassed week in week out. They may get the money and future parachute funds, but despite what Parrish repeatedly says in the free airtime the media keep giving the wide-boy, it's a nightmare season for them.

This is the part of the "go up for the money" argument I don't get, you may be financially sorted for a few years but any decent players you had when you went up or got in for the premiership are not going to want to be back in the championship after just one year and will probably want out, yes you might get cash for them but it means a complete team overhaul, this is why a lot of relegated teams don't go straight back up.

They'll be as good as down before the tinsel is down and actually down before the Easter eggs are open....

Before the season started I said on here that they'd have 10 points going into their last game, which they'd win, leaving them on 13. Their last game is Fulham. I see little to change my view....
