Anybody ever bought tickets to go and visit Buckingham Palace?

The Royal Collection - The State Rooms, <br>Buckingham Palace

I was tempted to go with the missus but was wondering if anyone had been before? Is it POTG?

At £18, it represents significantly better value than Selhurst Park

Buckingham Palace do an exclsuive guided early evening tour, which you have to pre-book about 4 months in advance, about £40 a head includes a glas of champane on the rear lawn at the end, and you are personally guided in a group of bout 16 through all the state rooms. Doesnt sound cheap of course, but our guide was so knowledgable and entertaining, and you get to see things the mass tours don't. Go for it.

Far better value than an evening trip to the other Palace on a cold late jaunary tuesday night, besides the tickets for that are like rocking horse sh1t.
