So from what you are saying is that Knockaert and Zaha are the same? Zaha has yet to perform consitently in the league, 2 goals and 1 assist last season. On making the step up to a top 10 team was knowhere near the top 11, let alone the bench.

Zaha scored 5 goals and got 7 assists last season. 2 goals and 5 of those assists were in the PL. It's true that he struggled at United but that had far more to do with his mental state than his natural ability.

Knockaert and March are there or thereabouts, but both have a better end product. It took a while to come through with March who, incidentally, came through our Academy via Lewes and, I understand, having left yours when much younger.

Neither Knockaert or March are even close to being as good as Zaha in terms of pace and trickery. Wilfried had the most successful dribbles of any player in the Premier League last season.

It's probably a safe assumption that most people in football would prefer to have the best dribbler in the country in their side than a decent Championship winger with no Premier League experience.

Sorry for going off topic, boss. If we're talking about Lewis Dunk, I think he's a decent player but his disciplinary record is very questionable. He seems to lose his head with startling regularity. If Pardew wants him then I'm sure he'll be playing for us in August but I'd rather we signed someone a little closer to Scott Dann's standard.

That's absolute nonsense. Palace scored from a league high 19 goals from corners last season, many of which were won by Zaha. He won 4 penalties last season, all of which were scored. Looking just at the goals and assists tally doesn't tell the whole story when he offers so much more than that. However, even if you look at it from a purely statistical view, his 5 goals and 7 assists makes him a 'more effective' player than Hazard, Mirallas, Pedro, Shaqiri, Bojan, Willian, Navas, Sterling, etc.
