Barber wouldn't say who the bid was from but he has now confirmed they've received one...
“We have received a bid for Lewis Dunk and it has been very firmly rejected without any discussion.
“We are very busy assembling – and soon we will be preparing – our squad for another attempt at securing promotion to the Premier League, our key ambition, so we have no intention of selling Lewis who has been, and remains, a key part of our squad.”

He will be here next season unless Sheffield Wednesday make ANY bid. He has his head turned by Hillsborough!

These aren't the players you're looking for.

Wow. Being in a position to turn down £5m+ bids for our players is incredible. We've come a long, long way.

We rejected £7m+ for Leo, and you could have bought the whole club for that less than 10 years ago.

Similar noises from the club regarding Ulloa the reality is if a big enough bid comes in nobody in our squad is safe. If this comes from the premier league it will turn Dunks head and we will be back to the situation last summer.

Not surprised we are knocking back £5m bids when you consider Mings went for £8m and that was before premier league clubs had the additional bundles of TV cash in their pockets

Cannot imagine Dunk going for less than 8 million. Crazy money I know but we are in a win- win situation, sell him and we have millions to invest in a player from the lower leagues (Goldson?) Stay and we have a premier player in waiting. We still have honeymonster as well.

Ulloa was sold because he really wanted to go and the club would not stand in his way. The club had no intention of selling him until his head is turned. If Dunk's head is turned he will go, but if he wants to stay, he will stay, no matter how high the bid.

Maybe....

Apparently it was Belgium and we're after cash + Hazard

Could not the sales of both Ulloa and Buckley have had something to do with avoiding a transfer embago?
