Recall the reaction to Palace setting off smoke bombs in the 1976 game, seems a much better response than all this whimpering.
If that had happened in the home end the stewards and police would have been all over it.
But in the away end they are scared of a load of spotty teenagers in primark black coats.
Doubt very much will happen as usual when it comes to policing against Palace.
I say it again it’s good job we are utter shite as some of you would explode with rage if we ever played European football and a boisterous German or Italian side visited the Amex.
Barber banned Brighton fans from having bottle tops after Deli Ali took a quarter bottle of Evian to the head, a game that had f all to do with us. Do you expect any different from him?I think the atmos in some Euro games is brilliant. I love the flares and I would be happy to have them at every game.
The issue is one of inconsistency by the club. If that had been one of us in the NS letting off flares we would have been out of the ground immediately and banned. Away fans do it and our club does nothing.
The club really shouldn't be treating away fans who break the rules significantly more leniantly than they would us.
Barber needs to make the club's policy clear. He can't allow away fans to get away with doing what home fans would get ejected and banned for.
Not really. I've got lifelong asthma myself. The smoke was pretty full-on in the North, at the opposite end of the ground, at one point. The swirling wind meant it didn't really dissipate for a while. Didn't affect me unduly, but reading some of the posts on the thread about people who were badly affected, the tvvat that let the smoke bomb off should count themselves lucky they're not in line for a charge of GBH or, in a worst case scenario, worse. And the club - just like last time - just let it happen and made no effort to steam in and grab the scrotes responsible. Far easier to clamp down hard on bottle top miscreants. Shameful lack of duty of care by the club to its customers. Just like last time.

Quite, I refuse to purchase now as I’m not receiving what I’m paying for which is a full bottle of drink complete with a lid. Does it say anywhere in the price list the bottles of drink are missing lids? .About the only bottle-related incident we've had at the Amex was when the Arsenal manager kicked one at the WSL. Don't recall seeing him being ejected from the ground

The only thing that gets wet is the stands with sticky pop running down them, the wasps when the weather warms up will be interesting.Don't be so wet.
(not a pun)

No doubt some of these supporters pronounced themselves 'terrified' when Cantona jumped into the crowd.
Half of them aren't old enough to know who Cantona is.
Or can't spell his name.
