I will bet my house on them escaping and us going down. Any seasoned Albion fan knows this is exactly what’s going to happen. When it comes to luck, Palace have it in abundance and we have very little. Christ they’ve gone bust twice, have one of the worst grounds in the top two flights and still season after season manage to pull off incredible results. Our history by comparison is shocking. Absolutely shocking. We can’t hold a candle to their achievements. Palace are a pretty successful club all things considered. Still scum mind...

Please don't bet your house on that....

I know how you feel.

I still can't believe how they didn't get relegated when they were the worst performing English team in 2016.
They averaged 0.72 pts per game in the calendar year, yet weren't even close to being relegated in 15/16 or 16/17.

This is what I mean. I know all fans feel they’re hard done by but our misfortunes are constantly amplified by Palaces lack of. Even when it’s a nailed on certainty they pull a rabbit out the hat in the same way we snatch defeat from the jaws of certain glory (yes I’m talking about you Mr Stockdale, you!)

Free falling down the table, dodgy keeper , exasperated manager, been skating on thin ice for a few years now.
Could this be their year?

I am hoping for a reverse of a couple of years ago where after 10 games they looked like toast but jammed their way out of it. This season so far I think they have been very jammy, sendings off have gone their way and theyve had the luck of playing the right teams at the right time but I think their luck has run out.

Add to that rumours the selling owners are at war with wiggy and it just gets better.
