I don't think you can move it?

All kinds of events have taken place, shows, concerts, festivals, during this industrial action, as much as its our 'biggest game' what makes the Albion any different?

Could they make the final stop of the 700 Coastliner the Amex for that day and just put loads of extra busses on to help?

If the police decide the game can't go ahead because of a lack of trains and a heightened chance of trouble then it will be moved. All planning for the game would have been done with the expectation the trains were running as normal, added to the fact there is already no parking available it changes things. I don't expect it to be moved but there is a distinct possibility.

The argument that shows, festivals, concerts etc have gone ahead during strikes isn't relevant, you don't get rival sets of fans clashing and a high potential for public order offences at a Little Mix concert.

Security? Unusual that people who go on a poodle exhibition or something fight those who prefer labradors.

Surely no trains would mean less Palace fans coming down - which would mean less of a ****show than it would be if trains were running?! Sounds ideal in fact, home fans only.

The club(s) should appeal to Premier League to move this asap. Amex without transport will be an absolute sh1tshow.

I don't think it would be a shitshow at all. There would just be THOUSANDS of empty seats

On the plus side, not currently scheduled for tv. If it was nothing would move it.

Could be attractive for telly (especially as both teams started well), so maybe moved back in the season if police not happy?

Fewer.

They'd no doubt drive - which would make PnR even crazier than it would be anyway (with no Bridge/Uni car parks that day).

Oh fabulous! What about us poor, hard done by, Albion fans that don’t live exclusively in the BN postal codes. I’ll remember that as I walk the walk of 60 miles along the A27 from Southampton - I reckon I can do it in about three days with a fair wind behind me.

Ah but you will be skipping back full of gay abandon, probably knock 4hours off the return trip.

In previous fixtures Palace fans were escorted down to a cleared Falmer station, herded onto their own eight carriage choo-choo and sent back from whence they came. With no trains running - what then? It will be a total dickheads day out unless the authorities have come up with a plan to segregate both sets of fans to ensure that all leave relatively peacefully.

The ‘segregation’ after our home game last season was a fecking disgrace and caused a dangerous crush outside the east. The club apologised and said lessons would be learned. Let’s see shall we……
The answer to this is what happened at the lunchtime 3-0 match when we were in the championship, at FT lock us in and then get rid of Palace. As the match would end at 5pm this is doable. Less so for a night finish.

IMO this should be moved to Sunday.

If you postponed the match chances are there will be another rail strike on the alternative date too, such is the economic shambles we are in.

Well yes and you could even have a match report - They take the lead (against the run of play after 46 Albion shots off target) and a late (possibly very late) equaliser from Us.

A more likely scenario
