Palace fans to move caravans to falmer?

Spun Cuppa

Thanks Greens :(
I was going past their camp the other day and commented that they always seem to have new motors and caravans. Someone then said it might be because they don't pay rent or a mortgage

I'm sure it's more than a coincidence that where ever they go there's always a mess after they leave.
If the local council provided a proper waste collection service, the accumulation of mess wouldn't occur.

send them to Firle, then the locals can burn their caravans..............................................what?
Failure by the council to collect rubbish was the basis of the Firle complaints back in 2003. Fortunately, Lewes District Council have now got the message and the regular visits by travellers that now occur (as they always have) no longer cause the same sort of nuisance.

I've always thought, after everything that's happened to get the Albion to this point, that things have run just too smoothly for the last 18 months or so. Promotion on the pitch, and a beautiful new stadium all but complete, with (once building had actually commenced) no hitches or issues or delays. This is just not on: surely something has to go wrong?

So it would about be par for the course if, come 6th August, we all turned up only to find fifty caravans occupying every square inch of space outside the stadium. It would really sum up the past fourteen years wouldn't it...

Hopefully the club will secure absolutely every part of the area including especially that area on the other side of Village Way, and of course any car parks in waiting.

or for their cars or caravans. When we had one when the kids were young, it was not worth buying a new caravan as the chances it would be lifted was so high!

I do hope your joking! Do you honestly think they should be entitled to roll up wherever they please and every local service going has to run round after them picking up all the pieces while they contribute approximately f*** all.

They should be persecuted and hounded out of everywhere until they get a house, get a job and pay some f***ing tax.

A very well-known local councillor once told me that travellers make a particularly good living in Brighton, mainly because there are a lot of householders who employ them to do cash-in-hand work.

Well at least that way they can't be called scroungers, tax dodgers though.

Perhaps the failure of the toerags to pay council tax was behind this, why the bloody hell should the council collect their shit when they contribute a large f***-all .

Why is it these people are tolerated?

If there are a group that have travelled for centuries, I don't have a problem with them continuing to do so, but that's without water and electricity, and not in someone's back yard. They should go to a nearby river and live like they used to.
