Right at the end, one of them takes a kicking from about 5 sheffield wednesday fans, gets to his feet and goes running to the line of police :lolol: Absolutely zero sympathy for any of them, not only because it is palace but because of that WBA thread on cpfc.org and because of the simply fact they had run past the players to goad the home fans.

Sadly no football club is immune to idiots, including you lot !

Im not arguing that, im sure we would have a contingent who would try the same, and they would deserve to get a kicking just as much. I think its wrong of anyone to try and stick up for those who run past the players to goad the home fans, deserve all they get.

They weren't goading anyone. But I agree no sympathy here either.I was right at the front and these teenage morons were pushing from behind and saying get on ,get on, so I said after you and let them through.I even said to a mate this is going to go very wrong.:US:

All I see is a load of kids running towards their kop waving their arms, by all means celebrate with your players and my tune would be very different if thats all it was and the wednesday fans came on, but the wednesday fans only came on when the palace moved beyond their players to celebrate on the pitch which as an away fan is a ludicrous thing to do.

Reminded me of the Old Shoreham Road outside the Goldstone - Palace running everywhere.

Hear they got a pasting outside as well.

If they were on the pitch they deserve what they got. I would feel the same if a Brighton fans had run on the pitch in a situation like that.

You cannot condone the violence but given the situation it wasn't a very good idea to run onto the pitch to celebrate what the home team had just lost. ranted most teams would do it but the outcome can hardly come as a surprise. I hate to say it but if we had been in Wednesday's position I doubt that our fans would have been any different.

Interesting one. Of all places to do that then you can expect a slap if you try and take the piss in Sheffield.

Would our fans stick up for our patch at withdean.......unlikely I'd imagine.

Credit to Palace fans for not making the scenes worse ysterday than they could've been.
There were plenty in the upper tier trying to get down to the bottom being held back and were beckoning the wednesday fans to come over.Alright for them they were not next to the pitch.

I was by one of the stairs and I didn't see anyone beckoning them to come over. Had they been playing another club with more of a nasty element than Palace then it would've ended up much much worse.

The left side as you look at the pitch loads were giving it.They should have asked I would have swapped places and they could have collected the coins
You are right about other fans.but ifit had been millwall they wouldn't have been on there giving it the big one.Not for long anyway
