Palarse Alert!!

The inevitable seems to have started to happen .... I notice from Homosdale that a couple of Palarse fans have bought tickets in an Albion part of the ground from presumably an Albion supporter. They paid £75 each for two tickets in the North Stand. This raises at least two issues:

1. Is it morally defendable to sell tickets in the Albion areas of the ground
to Palarse?
2. If you have someone sitting next to you during the game who you haven't seen before but who looks and smells like a pikey and sits on their hands when the albion score and starts to twitch involuntarily in the unlikely event that the palarse score - what do you do?

If you truly support the Albion IMO it is not morally acceptable to sell tickets to ANY opposing fans....

1 - NEVER - you should never sell your ticket to anyone who is not an Albion fan.
2 - heart says smack the crap out of them - head says report it to your nearest steward. The season ticket holder should be done as well, this could be classed as inciting violent behaviour.

I do hope you're joking. How are we supposed to gain new fans if they're not allowed into the ground?

no i am not joking, you should NEVER sell your ticket to someone you don't know. After all, if that person were to cause trouble it could have implications for you with your season ticket. The Club could revoke your ticket (more likely to give a warning).

9. The club reserves the right to withdraw and cancel the Season
Ticket Smartcard in the event that the holder’s behaviour is found
to be in breach of the Ground Regulations at the American Express
Community Stadium or any other Premier League, Football League or
other club; or if the holder’s behaviour is deemed to bring disrepute
to Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, including at away matches,
when travelling to and from matches, and at other events.
10. The season ticket is NON-TRANSFERABLE, unless the transfer is
processed through the club’s Ticket Office

I never said anything about giving it to people I don't know.

lol, I think there is some gullibility here. Are we supposed to believe that someone is going to hand over 2 smart cards to palace and expect to get them back. £75 is not much when it means you could lose your season ticket and definitely lose any respect you have from Albion fans

I always find it a bit odd when the subject of being in the opposition end comes up. I could never ever do it, simply because I am 99.9% certain I simply could not control myself not to go mental if we scored.

Think about it. You're in the Palace home end at Selhurst, and Harley goes and belts in another 30 yard free kick - could you just sit there quietly? I know I bloody couldn't.

Without proof I won't believe them and even if they did 2 away fans in the North Stand isn't going to make much difference is it and they will soon be escorted out

I smell more Palace bullshit, it would take a lot of bottle for them to sit in the North stand of all places. It would take some bottle from the owner of the season ticket to allow them to sit in our end, and if they do sell to our biggest rivals, what sort of Albion fan are they? Most of us have been champing at the bit to play Palace for ages. You would have to prise my season ticket from my cold dead hand before you could use it. Let's put it this way, I'd rather sell my ticket for the Liverpool tie, than the Palace tie. (although that will never happen either)

What if your best mate is coming to spend the weekend with you while his team is playing yours - is it that bad to buy two tickets so you can sit next to each other (he wouldn't be able to get a ticket for the away end)?
