Why would our biggest fear be Brighton replicating something we already managed two years ago? :)

Because we won't spunk it on wages for ageing PL players and will invest it on young players we might be able to actually make a profit on?

Also we have a lot more players we can do similar with over the next few years rather than one asset that hoares himself out every transfer window to get a new contract?

Actually it paid for our new cat1 academy, so we are investing for the future.

Actually it covered losses for the season. Not one penny reinvested.

Why do you say that ? A very large sum of money has been invested in the new academy that’s a fact.

So the question I ask back is where did that money come from, the season before ? It doesn’t really matter as millions of pounds have been spent on the training ground a academy 1 status.

How did BHA cover their losses in the last 3 seasons ? Selling players or Mr Bloom digging deep into his pockets, not every club has someone willing to pay out millions of their own money paying the losses,

While their fans point the fingers at other clubs and the financial situation they should maybe just be thankful that the chairman fills the empty coffers while the football side loses money….and that’s a fact in most clubs.

You are spot on, we are very lucky to have A fan and owner in Tony Bloom who has invested over £300 million in the club he loves. I would say that is a bit better than some clubs owners who take £2 million a year salary???

If you get it wrong you go into admin and start again, did either of the admins embarrass you at all?

Reading Palace fans having a dig at TB for spending on his favourite hobby smacks of green eye

Bloom is building for the long term and it’s all coming together nicely. If he chooses not to invest the BW money you won’t hear me complaining. Palace have done well recently to avoid relegation comfortably but you are just one bad season from meltdown as you have not progressed an iota since you came up through the playoffs

Probably just from the £58m losses last season

Well we have been buying players and selling very few. We;ve spent £200m on players over the past 5 seasons.
Our losses are something like £75m since we've been in the Premier league.,
Many of the players signed over the past 3 seasons remain as assets within the squad ,
Selling White and Bissouma could wipe out those losses at a stroke.

Palace have just completed their 8th season of Premier league cash and have posted a £58m loss last season and probabbly similar for this season.
They have been forced to allow the players they have signed to leave for nothing and now have half a Premier League squad left.

You can try and compare Palace's financial dealings with Tony Bloom's as much as you want.
It isn't comparable and you know it.
