They really are a level above stupid...

We are skint, Uncle Tony is no longer funding us... Apparently..

The Palace way... If we say something 100 times, it actually becomes fact and true...

Embarrassing fanbase!

Not just the Palace way though is it? Unfortunately it's the way of the World. The more a lie is promoted, the more it becomes truth. Sad but true. Even more so in the digital age.

I get they are not starting from the beginning with their academy, but to think they are going to start churning out youngsters is just plain stupid or in denial, or a bit of both.

I was envious of them when they created players like Vince Hilaire, and to be fair Mr Tumble is a wasted talent and could've been quality

The injuries one is quite good.
Seemingly we don't have them.

Do they really mean: we aren't so overly reliant on one player, that when he's injured, our results drop off a cliff?

Love the plastic fans bit, yet when they went up 10,000 seemed to appear from nowhere the next season.
A few loud shouters on there so most haven't the bottle to go on there and admit it.

We really ought to stop "bollocking on" about how we're going to thrash them, you just know what's going to happen. I'm obviously prepared to withdraw this view should we beat them. Let's not tempt fate eh?

Quite.

TBH the idea that we could thrash anyone is a little hard to accept given our ongoing goal draught.
It's a game we should win, but so was Sheff Utd/Fulham/West Brom/Burnley etc etc etc.

Looks a bit more ambiguous than Zaha is out. Says Zaha is currently still injured which doesn't rule out him not being injured on Monday.

"[Wilf Zaha] is still suffering from the injury, there’s no question of that. The doctors in particular and physios are very anxious to not put dates on people so they’d be very angry with me if I suggested dates he could return.

"He’s working very hard to get back as soon as he can. I’m rather hoping the prognosis will be different to the actual timescale."

So prob back Mon then

Don’t think ‘we’ really are at all. As usual you get the odd poster who will say a prediction. Think most of us know what Palace games are like and it’s very unpredictable. Anyone posting such stuff just opens themselves up to shit - like the palace morons who post on here.

Yep, I'm with you, I'll be SHOCKED if his name isn't on the team sheet!

Yes it suits their agenda to call us plastic (because we are far better supported and have far more modern facilities), but here are a few FACTS:

1) The 3 seasons before promotion, Palace averaged 15,500, 15,000 and 17,500. Suddenly, they sold out their 25,000 ground. That's an increase of 30%+ overnight. Our gates went from 25-27k to 30k - nothing like the same level of plastic Premier league fanbase then. Confirmed.

2) Talking of fair-weather fans, nobody does this like Palace. 51,000 saw them gain promotion to division 1 in 1979, but literally 5 years later in the same division (one promotion, one relegation) and the gate for local-ish Wimbledon at home was 4,025. Noddy tin-pot twats.

3) They also like to talk about us being two-club fans. I have to say, I don't know any myself but there we go. I DO know that the bloke that Cantona booted 3 rows back for saying "it's an early bath for you Eric" has since gone on record as actually being a Fulham fan. And one of those embarrassing ultra ring-leaders "used to" support Spurs.

Says it all. Joke outfit that nobody in London cares about.
