Been through this loads - I’ve tried to organise a whip round but everyone thinks you’re a **** so it’s hard...

Get rag n bone man to serenade us and any woman would swoon at my feet.

How much is he costing a week? £100,000?

The amount your lot spend on wages you should be top 10.

Sustainable business model my arse.

Just desperately papering over the cracks to stay up each year.

Lallana hasn’t come to you for peanuts has he.

At least you got right one of us this time... but no, I doubt they would... Bit worried your banter levels are repetitively the same unfunny thing though ..- maybe we can get you some life coaching with the hooker?

Mid mid mid Sussex
Eze 10 ( on the back of his shirt).
I've written a new chant for you - you can shout it at your wife/dog/carer:

Know it sounds funny
But I just can't stand the pain
'Cos we'll lose again tomorrow
Seems to me Roy
You know you've done all you can
Our fans have begged, stole
And "borrowed"

Ooh, our striker's Eze
He's Eze but he's not scoring
That's why it's easy
To see our football is boring

Brighton factually.....
Even Palace have done good striker business now. Eze and Batshuayi are going to improve them alot.

Agreed, the hope is Roy will coach any attacking instinct out of them...

I maybe in a minority, but I do not want Palace to go down, I really enjoy derby day and after waiting so long for them to return, it would be shame to lose them.
I would also say, now this might be controversial but....
I would rather talk football with one of their fans rather than a Leeds or southern based Man United or Liverpool fan.....

I'd like them to go just so we can undisputibly be better than them for the first time in decades but agree would much rather them stay up than Leeds or Villas delusional idiots.

Its just a shame we only get the Nimrod's Nimrod on here.

Still a rare win for the Albion gets them cowardly running away for a few weeks of 'oh I forgot my login details'.

Spinless morons.

My biggest fear had I been born a few miles North of the Sussex coast and were a Croydon FC fan, would be in what kind of account has the ring-fenced 100m been in since Covid crisis.

Has it been in a standard saver account, gaining little interest and depreciating in real terms, or has a savvy investor produced a nice balanced folio and have it grown by 15-20% thus allowing maybe an additional tier brining a six-figure capacity to the new LOPS (lipstick on pig stand).

The money is surrounded by a fence, they're smart like that.

Significantly less than £100K a week though.

You're missing the point though.

We're not blowing all the TV money on wages. This season you'll be blowing far more as every team has to take a cut.

Agree.
With strong rumours of also signing Benrahma from Brentford, we are looking a lot stronger up top.
Eze looks very promising.

Do you not think Lallana and Dunks new improved deal are not near to £100 k a week ?
With Lallana’s signing on fee probably built into his wages, I’d imagine it’s easily £100k plus.

Of course they are. The players are not charities.

The positive is though that we are still around £14million+ in credit from transfer business this window ( after all the U23 signings as well ) and realistically need only 2 more players - with the potential for more incoming fees on top of this.

So we are pretty well placed to make those 2 deals in the next 3 weeks.

We're also not reliant on one player who looks like he'd rather shoot his own Grandmother in the face than score a goal for his team.
