All those trying to wind up @loz are on a hiding to nothing. He is like an anti-troll: rises above every jibe and sails serenely on by.

If you want to get a fun reaction you will need to try xwitter or there are some "banter" facebook groups I am reliably informed.

It’s bloody football, not important….unlike Cricket don’t mention the 100 or T20 you might get me going.

Your fans don't seem to think it is.

I guess they're just spoilt.
I think most of us realise its the most successful period we have had if you count length of time in the top division. I have to admit I much prefer seasons where we go long in cup competitions, and promotion/relegation battles that go almost down to the wire, rather than mid table mediocrity, and this year could see that "entertainment" return

No as an old git the season we went up from div 3 to div 2 and the seasons in the 2nd tier before 1979 were my favourites, absolutely loved them.

About 4 of us mid to late teens used to go everywhere to watch football, not just palace…I go these days because it’s a habit I can’t give up, but find premier football a real ball ache and testing that habit, I have a feeling VAR might break it.

It’s funny you would say going to Selhurst is just a habit now.

When we were absolute pony, 1996-97 ish, I used to go every home game, and after every abject defeat, I’d go home and be very grumpy.

Mrs LLF used to say to me, why do you go, if it makes you that unhappy, and my only answer was, it’s a habit.

Very occasionally a day like Fans United would come along, and I’d get a new burst of enthusiasm, but, the days like that were very few and far between.

Agreed.

But he could do us a huge favour by encouraging the homophobe Dougie and postcode boy back for us to play with.

I used to say exactly the same about The Albion. 77 to 79 was always my peak football watching time....

...until the last few seasons that is.

We are now at peak Albion,
who knows whether Palace will ever reach our current heights

This guy did a stadium tour of Selhurst Park and was impressed! Easily pleased I think.
Apparently it's going to be even better when the new stand is built.

That shirt in the bin is a permanent fixture there for the stadium tours - I like it - it shows them for the classless excuse of a football club they are 🤣

Yeh @loz has earned respect and seems a lovely fella. But he will see anti palace stuff on this thread and it shouldn’t hold anyone back - it’s a BHA board and a palace bashing thread. He doesn’t react though which is nice to see… in fact he tends to agree…

I genuinely didn't realise they did tours of Selhurst Park. I mean - honestly, just what is the point? If people are that desperate to experience the inside of a portacabin that two dozen sweaty men get showered and changed in once every two weeks, you may as well ask Balfour Beatty if you can have a quick look round one of their HS2 construction site compounds, ffs.

This: How can anybody look at the football we're playing and wish for (significantly) more? it's BEAUTIFUL.

A mates dad did it and he sent me that same photo - I bet they go and place the shirt just right before each tour once a year

But despite all that this is still the most successful prolonged period in the history of the club.
You’re right, that cannot be denied, my Son, a Palace fan, feels like the club’s in limbo though. He said much the same it’s the best, and worst, of times, not helped by his Dad going on and on about how well Brighton are doing 😂😂😂

I'm not up for fact-checking, but WOW if true:

For reference, we've won 28 games in the same period, 13 this season...
