In what way are you a better run club?

Shiny stadium packed out with two team tourists funded as part of £400m loan from Uncle Tone?
Comfy seats and award winning pies and concourses?
Currently ahead in the league table? What happened last time you finished above us in the table?

We have a thriving academy producing a conveyor belt of talent that we are supplementing with shrewd signings, and a new part owner who totally gets the club, alongside lifelong fan Mr Parish
Our ground may not be squeaky clean, but its our home, and I wouldnt swap it for a soulless bowl in the middle of nowhere

Thriving academy … really? Your POTS will be heading back to Chelsea.
New owners that looked a jumping ship to Chelsea?

You sound very bitter …

"May not be squeaky clean.."..?

"May not"..?....you're having a laugh.

It's a filthy, stinking, piss-hole of a cesspit.....fit only for the inhabitants of your equally filthy area.

Bravo sir bravo :lolol:

ah someone who get's it, you would love an uncle Tony, let's be honest which set of fans wouldn't, we are very lucky.
L

I am Albion though & through the same as you are Palace through & through, good on ya.

It is so good to be playing you regularly again, you have been so far in front of us over the years, it has hurt.
It is good for us and for you, love to hate and all that, I would take talking to one of you lot rather than a southern united or liverpool fan any day.

You know, we had nowhere else we could have built the stadium, even if you do a point, that many deny or will defend, I won't, the atmosphere could be better yes.
Your kids do make a bit of a din, and you should be proud of them.

Any news on your stadium upgrade by the way ?

Here's to the rivalry continuing for at least another season :whisky:

I am not getting involved in the Willy waving our academy is better than yours type stuff.

But the bit in bold…I would say palace are catching up with Brighton on the playing style and academy front, as a middling table team we could see that we could not keep up the firefighting to stay up , and like Brighton went the youth route, and I for one have been surprised and impressed with the way it’s gone so far.

Some of you go on like Brighton have never had a loan player, you know you have had a few and some pretty good ones to.

We’ve had some cracking loans over the years, I don’t think any Brighton fan will deny that. However I am very grateful that we’ve not had a single loan player under Potter (apart from Mooy which was always going to be made permanent)

They’re a great tool for lower league clubs to utilise, especially when wage budgets can be tight. But a Premier League club? Ridiculous. It’s the richest league in the world. Gallagher has been great for you, and Borja has been decent for Southampton but it’s unbelievably shortsighted and every Prem club has the budget and pull to avoid having to resort to it.

Remarkably over half the clubs in the Premier League have players on loan and I honestly can’t wrap my head around it.

Well it could be said that if teams like palace and Brighton have a good player like say white, they are only there for a season, yes you get money for them but we are loaning them for the whatever bigger club comes in for them.

I love any player pulls on a palace shirt and gives his all, but once they have gone I have no feeling for them good or bad. I am club loyal , but players , managers and directors ( some) are here today gone tomorrow.

( in saying all that if vince Hilaire walked in the room I would get all star struck )

Since we reached the Premier League other clubs have closed the gap big time on my dislike of Palace. Of course they are the games I want us to win over all others but my dislike of the caravan dwellers is nowhere near as strong as it was

Sorry

Other than the fact that we have a better owner, a better academy and a better stadium, we have a lot in common

One seasons of your academy and you have a conveyor belt of players all ready?

Well played. That is impressive.

Who are these starlets? How many players do you have out on loan and what level?

I have been called worse but as someone who was there the game that the Seagulls chant started I am just being honest

Newcastle, Liverpool, United, City, Burnley, Saints, ****ing Bournemouth, Leeds, Aston Villa I dislike all of them intensely too now. I used to just dislike Palace, Orient, Cardiff and Reading

The one who wanted to bin you lot and tried to be part of a consortium buying Chelsea?

No you are talking about Harris and Blitzer there. I am talking about John Textor, a new investor, whose Facebank adverts appear around the ground, and engages with the fans

We are playing catch up. You know very well we have always had similar crowds, before we were plundered and had to leave the Goldstone, so fair play you, that you did not bring that into it, you also know that some fans support other clubs, as well as The Albion or Palace, it is just the way it is, people move, people are sucked in by the "elite" or simply some people are stupid.

Hmm stadium upgrade, I'll get back to you on that, waiting on buying a small piece of land off our favourite local supermarket, who have vastly inflated the price, as is their right. Some talk Croydon council will enforce a compulsory purchase order, but thats all it is talk

The kids do make a din, they can be a bit bolshy at times, but we are better with them than without. Dont understand why there is so little atmosphere at the Amex, even the Stains made some noise last weekend

Completely agree that its good to talk with real fans than plastics who have never been near where their team plays. Now if you could just do the decent thing and get turned over by Manure tomorrow to enable us to take our rightful place above you :drink:

Apologies for not getting turned over by the Surrey Specials Manure, advantage us, it's a very close call?
