I know it's Palace but having your best players picked off by "bigger" clubs really hacks me off. It is so hard to build a good side for those of us outside the top six.
I don't know how the likes of Chelsea and Man Utd do it - they still have so many decent players on their books that I have forgotten they owned because they never play them - yet they still are buying players ,but it's good that they win nothing :giggle:
United fans will remember when they were FACup winners 🤣

It’s the nature of the beast unfortunately. Players gets noticed and when a big club comes in then it usually means they move on. I’ve no problem with that tbh.

That’s been covered on here elsewhere, it was found to be false and an apology was given.
Well shit the dressing room

I think every palace fan on here condemned it

Really? In which post did Dougie condemn it?

Gambling destroys lives and always attracts a mercy side , IMHO all gambling advertisers should be prohibited on sports shirts but alas it’s not.

Although this has been said not to be true and an apology was given, nothing surprises me in the murky world of gambling companies. ( it seems the Far Eastern ones are worse )

Let's not pretend all gambling is equal

I'm not sure if age has mellowed my dislike of Palace but if I had the choice of seeing any club go tits up right now Palace wouldn't make the top 3.
The blatant rule bending to suit the mega rich clubs boils my piss to many degrees above losing to Palace now and then.
I agree, I enjoy the banter and family get togethers (yes, well known fact we are a Brighton v Palace fans family) and before then going ^%#* up would come Chelsea, Utd, City, Liverpool & Arsenal plus a few from Leeds. Leicester & Chesterfield (again)

But you were ripping us to bits when our stars were poached by bigger clubs, even though we said "we can't help it, when a big club comes calling", double standards?

Now, now. In their defence; they were talking about how an insignificant club like Palace have to accept losing players, whilst far more important clubs like Brighton are so wonderful we should be able to hang on to our star players. They are wrong in this, but it is sweet that they think it.
