That is a great picture. You can imagine him giving some Forrest-Gump -style monologue about the 'The Team of the 80s' to others waiting for the bus, before they all slope off to kill themselves.
If it was just one iffy penalty decision it could be classed as a 'hissy fit.'
It has been, however, several this season. Obviously you'd know that if you knew anything about football.
Could well be accurate again next season if Palace fans' nightmare scenario comes true.To be fair, it must be frustrating to not get the same treatment as the big clubs over penalty decisions. I'm sure if we look at the stats that Pardew must have a case for saying: 'If it was us we wouldn't have got it.'
Just look at 2013/14 when Liverpool were top of the penalties awarded table and Palace languished down in ...
https://www.statbunker.com/competitions/ForPenalty?comp_id=449 Oh? Joint fourth? That can't be right.
Well then lets look at 2014/15:

See? Liverpool were still close to the top for penalties awarded, joint fourth in fact! Joint with.... Oh, its Crystal Palace...
Yes but this year things have been different haven't they?
Palace's unfair treatment from referees has them down in,
https://www.statbunker.com/competitions/ForPenalty?comp_id=515 Oh they're still joint sixth with twice as many awarded as Liverpool.
Oh well, I suppose facts are nothing compared to knowing 'anything about football'.
P.S. With Bournemouth jumping over Palace, your user name should now be '9 Places Apart.' It may need editing for accuracy again if Swansea get a point on Saturday.
He's as boring as that last match against Preston.

Didn't notice much over Boxing Day's through the 50's and 60's then?
Haven't heard the phrase; "It's because of Boxing Day"?
"Full kit with way too tight shorts, tick! White velcro trainers that make me look as if I've just been released from Broadmoor, check! Not one but two horrible, ill fitting and awkward to carry bags, you bet!
Almost perfect, just one thing missing....... YES! A crappy little flag that a six year old child would be embarrassed to hold, get in! I'm off to catch the bus."
Brighton played Palace on Boxing Day in 1951 but not again in the 50s or 60s or indeed 70s until 1979 and then 3 times in the 80s - 83, 86, and 1988 which included some celebrated victories.
That chant (i think ) i think refers to those.
