I know this won't help now but selecting the 'best available' button is always the way to go when there is such a big demand for so few ticketsDitto. What really annoys me is that it lets you select seats then tells you that they're gone, a limitation of the software I guess.
I'm 10 points under tier 1. If this had been any 3k away ground I'd likely have been tier 1. It's a great system when it works, shit when it doesn't.
I still think that the tier 2 range for games with reduced away capacity is too broad but hey ho. I might consider the Terrace (if they have a license to show it?) but not if I have to go through the same ticketing website BS.
It's whoever clicks the "Buy" button first who gets the ticket.Ditto. What really annoys me is that it lets you select seats then tells you that they're gone, a limitation of the software I guess.
My son was extremely lucky queue number 270, and just managed to bag one of the remaining seats in Block R at 0902

It’s a bit rich talking about fairness and “hoggers” when you’ve tried to game the system with multiple devices. Was using three devices, two miles back in the queue, 700 or so.
Managed to get one. Very fortunate, at least the system itself seems fair now with no basket hoggers.
It will be far less stressful doing that, although it means missing the game. We’re T2 for Brentford, I’m not going to bother.
You might be thankfulGot 2 restricted view. Better than nothing I suppose.
What’s wrong with trying on my phone and using two browsers? I gave myself the best chance possible. It’s a bit rich talking about fairness and “hoggers” when you’ve tried to game the system with multiple devices.
Definitely one for FAB and I think that is a perfectly reasonable suggestion for the smaller allocations.I was in discussion with the club about this in January 2024.
A suggestion was made to revise the tiers as follows:
For allocations of 2000 and over (the current system remains):
Window 1 – the allocation (normally around 3k)
Window 2 – 25% of STHs & 1901 (around 6k)
Window 3 – 50% of STHs &1901 (around 12k)
Window 4 – all STHs & 1901 (around 24k)
For allocations under 2000:
Window 1 – the allocation (using an example of 1k allocation – 1k)
Window 2 – double the allocation (around 2k)
Window 3 – 50% of STHs &1901 (around 12k)
Window 4 – all STHs & 1901 (around 24k)
I don't think anything came of these discussions though - one for the FAB maybe.
Have the tiers been announced?Very lucky, I tried for my mate who’s working, I was actually on 253 I think, got in at 0903, quickly opted for best available, clicked buy then silence, fortunately me and the boy were sorted yesterday but the ghost of Ajax came back to haunt me this morning!

Not only did my seat choice not load up, the best available button didn’t work either so I had no chance even though there were iverWhat’s wrong with trying on my phone and using two browsers? I gave myself the best chance possible.
Ironically all the devices had a similar wait time.
The problem was people going in early and holding tickets at 9am (Ajax like).
The system works now, best available is the best way.
luckily your browser worked unlike a lot it seems who had issues!joined queue at 8.40 then gave me number 248. grabbed 2 tickets in block S at 9.02. sorted.
