We're gonna have to step it up in the next half.

It's always a danger if you play well, because there's the risk you'll go in and the manager will say 'more of the same lads' but your opponents will come out having had a rocket lit under their arses and so you face tougher opposition and can't give more of the same, then you lose your nerve.

We have to step it up.

solid first half, decent keeping from sulivan, few decent crosses in, now lets push on and get a goal in the second half

Thornton looks so poor in midfield, maybe that's why he's not in the starting XI

Forster's too old to play the loan striker role.

Sky commentators have to learn to recognise players from different teams almost daily, there's usually a minimum of three games a week, since saturday they've aired 6 games.

They've identified all the players of both sides and got their names and histories right.

Why then, can't the SCR guy learn even just the brighton players. Would be nice.

Get Virgo right up top and bring Robinson on for Forster when/if he looks tired last 20. Bring Loft or Fraser on for Cox as hes wank. (admittedly did a few nice crosses)
Their only danger looks to be Holt. Just the type of striker I hate playing against where the ref never sees his constant fouling.

And Glaswyn its HinShelwood as opposed to Hinchelwood.

Supriosed that MA briught on Hinsh and nit Fraser and pushed Virgo back but we seem to be doing ok and getting better as the game goes on. The problems we are having is with the long throws and set pieces by Shrewsbury which we are not dealing with as well as we did when Hawkins was on.

how can Johnson and Fleetwood not play because they don't want to be cup tied as the parent teams are no longer in the cup ......does he actually mean they have already played for their parent club in this cup already.
