I mean, not that it's unrelated to pace, but it doesn't help that we refused to go on the break! We scored one goal on the counter all season in the league.

True, although Ferdi doesn’t look slow, neither does Barco.

I think pace in midfield can snuff out breaks against us before they become a problem. Players breezed pass WBG and Gross last season far too much
