Right! Just spoke to the club and have the answers:

P&R = Not running
Special buses (P,S, R) = Running, times unconfirmed but starting at 5.40
Parking = Bennett's Field is sold out, £10 payable on the gate at Bridge car park (old Falmer School)
Trains = Longer trains running but have to buy tickets to Falmer

I don't think anyone is saying it should operate - however that is irrelevant. Providing, clear, accurate and timely communications is the issue here and any complaints will be due to the lack of them.

That wasn't what my complaint was about. I never said I was complaining about it not running. It is the lack on communication. The fact that different staff from the club are saying different things. Also that they were running it but say they cancelled it because only 20 people booked but nobody I have asked seemed to know we were supposed to book.

That is an unacceptable farce. Somebody has screwed up massively. Whether its the club or the bus company? Who knows?

We now have plenty of parking near the ground to accommodate a far few thousand coming direct to the ground, which you can easily book. Secondly there's trains and the normal buses.

The official website explains all in simple to read explanation.

Some are only happy when feeling let down.

There's only going to be 8000 people going, take away the normal travelling by train, normal buses, walking and cycling leaves just those who would use P & R. Those P & R'ders can be accommodated in the car parks. They have given you fare warning on the website and at the game last Saturday.

Sorry no idea and no point in trying to make any sense of it. Me and my two boys have annual train tickets that cover us to Brighton. I will just argue the toss over Falmer if necessary. It makes yo wonder what exactly the club transport manager does to earn a salary!

I heard a rumour that Coldean is going to be busy tonight over what can only be described as a commercial disaster, I mean this coupled with Barclays, the alleged issues at Standard Charter and those naught people at HSBC, what has happened to the world. I may just buy a train ticket and get on a train arrive at the stadium, watch the game and then just get on a train again to come home, without worrying to much about the devastation around me that others are experiencing getting to the match. Hope those poor seople in the Phillipines just realise how lucky they are! NOT! Man UP!

Is there a legal time frame that clubs must adhere too - seriously there are 8000 people going tonight, it's not going to be a struggle, yes someone has made a mistake somewhere, but it's hardly life threatening stuff is it and definitely no need for all this drama!

If they had been telling us that they didn't know before hand maybe that would help or if they had been telling us the same thing but it had changed that would be better but the fact that different staff members have been saying different things is a big issue.
