Wouldnt be too dissapointed if he left, i dont think next season he would play half as well and score to many goals, perhaps with a contract behind him the effort wouldnt be there and i just cant see him being that good again. There are plenty of strikers within our range out there, Billy clarke did well out on loan this year and is on a free?

He done a good ,honest job for us!Definately helped in the great escape. Has good physical presence something we have lacked up front and workrate was first class, both qualities that are vital in the third tier of the English league. Always rated him,had some good battles with Danny Cullip when he played against us.

Both Murray and Forster are a fair bit better than him, Owusu completely disappeared the second a team figured out how to deal with him - Stockport.

Don't get me wrong I'm very grateful for his goals, but he wouldn't start for us so I don't see him having a future with us. I'm happy with Davies and Hart being the options from the bench.

I hope we don't sign him. I presume he'd be demanding fairly hefty wages and I think a strike force of Murray, Hart, Forster and Davies is easily sufficient.

Let's spend his wages elsewhere on the midfield or defensive side.

As did Fraser & Loft and look where they are now? I like Owusu but I would'nt want to see us break the bank to try and sign him. If he wants to play for us he'll agree a deal if it's a payday he's looking for then I'd rather he looks elsewhere.

Admitedly, i only saw Lloyd a couple of times, but i thought he was actually,'only ok'. I know he scored the goals that probaly kept us in Div 1 , but i really thought he was slow, cumbersome on the ball , and as a 'targetman' didnt really bring others into play.
Im not sure he is really needed IF he is going to one of five forwards....will the effort be there if he is signed as a back up ?

I think we should try to keep him if we can, but without having to pay silly money in wages.

The reason is because he offers an alternative style up front, meaning that we have options to change our styleof play if one system isn't working or to counter the oppositions tactics.

If he's looking for a 2 year deal, I think Adelaide would be best for all parties involved....but thanks for the goals, and all the best.

He helped us while we had serious injury problems last season, there's no doubt about that. However, if he does go to Adelaide who would blame him. He would be a bit of a loss but not a tragedy by any means.

I'm not too fussed if he goes but would be happier if he took Davies with him.

Once he gets his confidence he will come good & perhaps given a pre season under his belt he might just get that bit of confidence he needs.
Being thrown into a relegation threatened team really isnt easy.

Good point well made.
