Can't say I've been impressed too much with OH, but I blame the hapless Swede for the players not knowing WTF they should be doing.

Really? Gerrard was probably MOM 1st half, remind me when Hargreaves was even close to MOM for even 5 mins?

Hardly a fair comparison, given one didn't start. How many decent games has Gerrard had for his 40-odd caps? When Hargreaves has started, he's generally been pretty good.

I will make a prediction.

Once Sven has gone we will reflect on his reign as a time when England its best attacking players for 40 years but a manager who stifled them with negative tactics.

Owen Hargreaves will be the man synonymous with those tactics, in the same way that Carlton Palmer is the player who typified the leaden-footed Graham Taylor era.

I fully expect Hargreaves to be out of McLaren's squad a year after this WC.

But we've all got to be so GRATEFUL that Sven takes this group of players and helps them to qualify for tournaments.

Apparently.

Why would Hargreaves be dropped by McClaren, he IS a good player. A regular in the Munich team played in his correct position. Not like McClaren will change anything after Sven anyway

Not a stunning prediction it has to be said. In fact, you may as well predict that Brazil win at least one game in the next ten years.

Brazil will DEFINATELY win at least 1 game in the next 10 years, without question.

Definately.

Over the last couple of days I've just got the feeling its not going to happen because:

1. The sight of Walcott in a bandage typifies the f***ed-up selection of only 4 strikers

2. Sven's quote that he expects Rooney to pay some part in the T&T match whe it's patently obvious he needs more time to rest and it's a match Owen Hargreaves by himself could probably win single-handedly.

3. The same old story of a dreadful second half with no goals and conceding the initiative vs Paraguay.

We need a couple of quick goals vs T&T to settle the nerves and at least 1 in the 2nd half to break that hoodoo.
