Some 20 years back we looked after The Albion in Fishersgate for 6 months and on many occassions could read the names of Spanish and French fishing boats that were so near to the land as to be readable quite easily.

Well now you mention it......yes i am a middle ages fisherman of ye 13th century...prior to that i was on Whitehawk hill 2000 BC...that's the true test...you know

I do my bit for this by actively not eating fish because I don't like it. If there is ever an issue with over exploitation of battered sausages I will have problems.

That's disgusting. Shouldn't battered sausages be sent to the nearest refuge bin!!

Actually Badfish,i now reside in Lewes suberbs,Lewes came to the aid of Brighton in the middle ages,you however reside in Australia and the oldest recorded rocks and bones of mankind were found there,you my frien are the true Brightonian. It's all about our roots
