Lets hope so. I personally am not going unless I can still get a ticket after Christmas. Should be a good game though.

cannot possibly be a decent crowd when the great and good of NSC have declared otherwise........ how dare you suggest that they could have got it wrong or - dare one say it - over reacted :lolol:

It probably will be, as it's Premier League and other fans who reckon they wouldn't be able to get a ticket will. Expect it to sell out just before Christmas/next week.

I listened last night and thought he said we were on course to sell over 20,000. Slightly different?

What do you expect him to say? " i've f***ed up the ticketing for this game, to date we've sold 6, 000 tickets" like a previous poster said, on course and selling are very different. Playing mind games, i'd say.

On course to sell 20k is very different and would be an embarrasing attendance. Almost a third of the ground empty against big Premier league opposition.

7 of our 10 season tickets not being taken because of the price and being on TV. Im going to wait till near the day and see if I fancy the trek down from London.

He says we are heading towards 20,000 already, with three weeks to go. That seems to mean that it is approaching 20,000 sales now, with still plenty of time to go.
I think that the game is on tv and that many a season ticket holder can live without a glamour tie live might well have different bums on seats and perhaps less of an atmosphere than usual, but that's no bad thing. Demand should grow with a half-decent performance and a satisfying experience for new visitors to the ground. I'll be sat on my couch with a cold brew and a giant bowl of doritos and cannae wait for that either.
