Here, there and everywhere
Sorry if fixtures, but thought I would start in official Outfield Players in Goal thread. Starting with our very own Vicente

The one and only Kevin Bremner, an Albion striker who worked hard, scored a goal in a match that took us to the second tier of English football in a promotion winning game, but was given a hard time by the fans, would never happen today of course.

Bremner wasnt all bad but to be fair there were a few games he was a bit "Heskey" and seemed to be on the floor allot from my memory

Happened in a Championship game last season, can't remember exactly who- Kevin Nolan perhaps? West Ham is ringing a bell. Or maybe it was a Leeds player: Warnock never liked wasting a sub's place on a keeper.

Bremner played really well in goal that night....until he literally threw a low cross into the net toward the end of the game :ffsparr:

Anyone remember the game early on (September?) in the first season at Gillingham against Darlington when their keeper got sent off after about ten minutes and Carl Shutt had to go in goal?

Oh how we lured them into a false sense of security by failing to have a shot at goal for the following 80 minutes, and raced to a 0-0 draw.

Happy days.

Sounds very much like the Poyet tactic from late Oct - Jan and the last 6 games of the season.
