Is this the way its going to be this season....teams kicking absolute lumps out of us??? or are the officials becoming to soft....the game against doncaster we had players left with near legs broken, the cup game against the gills was the same....6 yellow cards for Gillingham the whole midfield and front pair were booked!!! then today at Fratton park again!!! dirty tackles flying in from all angles... players were lucky to escape serious injury....before we have another lua lua incident where a leg will be broken, the officials need to man up a bit. if its a straight red after 5 minutes of play then brandish the card ffs!!! i worry for our squad as its not the biggest by any means,

why can't you read???

Pretty sure I can, thanks. Indeed I recall reading books for 10yr olds when I was 8yrs old at Peter Gladwin School, Portslade, back in the late 70s. But hey, I'm not here to boast.
I'm not saying there haven't been bad tackles - in fact I really didn't say a lot, did I? I guess the point I should try and make is that yes, Donny were a little OTT at times, but then arguably Dunk's tackle was too and as for Caldy sticking his face into that other Donny players knee, well that's a different matter. It does appear to be a more physical league, and the yellow cards for Pompey will mount up and cause them problems too, cos they have a smaller squad than us.

The mix of being a team with a good footballing reputation/bigger stronger players playing against us and having Gus Poyet as a manager is always going to make the opposition raise their game

That's because I could barely stand up for the Donny game, let alone throw anything - strained my lower back doing a kettlebell workout two days before. If it wasn't for the vast amounts of painkillers and muscle relaxants I consumed on the sat morning - along with a lot of rum - I wouldn't have made the game at all! I'll buy you a pint sometime this season Arty. As for Banana Toffos - I ain't seen one of them since the late 70s!! Where did that come from?

Mate, i know how painful backs are. I have a condition fusing my bones together so it is bloody awful. Hope it gets better mate.....it is bloody horrible pain. I randomly remember Banana Toffo's in dream last week(not right in the head clearly)

As for the pint.......for sure i will meet for a few sometime this season.........just look out for a small chunky midget in the WSU gagging for a kronenburg, lol

Hmmmm! As a Pompey fan I saw it slightly different. We lost....so be it.......but I was mightly unimpressed by Albion yesterday. Gus Poyet has your team employing South American tactics of diving and rolling about on the floor not seen from an opposition at Fratton since the early eighties. Truly awful to watch to the extent I hope sincerely your team gets a solid thumping from someone soon. Sour grapes ? May be ......but really, I don't want to have to pay so much money to watch that kind of rubbish again.

You're joking right? In simple terms we had three or four players who were capable if running rings round you and your players had to just bring them down. How can you not see that?

What was that song you lot were singing after the final whistle .....'we're brilliant'.....? Deluded.
No I'm not kidding and if your team were running rings round us how come we had so many chances on your goal in the last 20?

Some salutary lessons coming up for you I think.

You are the deluded one mate. Your team are an absolute disgrace whose only tactic was to foul whenever possible. I would far rather watch us week in week out than watch your long ball, dirty team. Yes, we weren't brilliant yesterday and that song does make me cringe but we deserved to win. Kitson should have been sent off and you could easily have had more bookings. To be fair, there is nothing to recommend Portsmouth. Complete dump, deluded and unpleasant fans, a dirty team and long ball manager. Glad we won't be going there again this season (although will probably draw you in the FA Cup).

You think the shower of shite your team served up is better? Lol

On the evidence of yesterday, you'll be in league 1 before you know it.
