£40 should see a very decent return.

To be fair you’re correct. They did. But tonight was the deal sealer against the second worst side in Premier League history. And we failed to bet them. Again.

They had the worse points total at one point. Think it’s harsh to say they’re the worse side in PL history because of that. I’ve seen worse sides than them. Pandemic has thrown up all sorts of things some teams have failed to adjust to.

Not excusing us losing to them by any stretch, but the game was never a gimme just because of their position. The worse thing that could have happened for us is them having their relegation confirmed, the narrative changed for them even if it was inevitable before that.

But yeah, very disappointing because the form we’ve had last few weeks should have been enough to earn a result.
