Based on my modest betting experiences most weekends, predicting 3 results is hard, so I'm not going to attempt to guess 70........it's in hours hands though, definitely
The Forest Saturday coincides with my day off.
There's no way I would want to miss the game if it were to become 'winner takes all'.
There's no way I would be 'allowed' to go, without jnr.
There's no way I would take jnr to the game if it were to become 'winner takes all'
Tickets go on sale at the end of March.
Forest had better win or preferably lose all their games between now and then.
I can make you feel better here.
This idea that we are crap against lesser teams was true in 2013, but isn't any more. The last time we failed to put away a lesser team was Charlton on Boxing Day, unless you count a draw against 12th placed Bournemouth on 1st January. Since then, we've beaten Port Vale, Birmingham, Doncaster and Millwall. Admittedly they were all 1-0 victories except Vale, but we have won every single one of them, and won deservedly. And in that time, we've only lost to Watford (we were pony, away), Hull (Premier league club, away) and Wigan (unlucky, but they were in form anyway)
So really, I don't think anyone needs to worry about lesser teams any more.
They did attack us, but not from the outset.
They turned up expecting to get dicked, and then after 20 minutes when we had thrown NOTHING at them, they got bored of waiting to withstand a barrage that never came, and grew and grew in confidence.
Entirely self inflicted.
thank you Simster and I love your confidence, I hope it comes true. My point still stands though that we make hard work of the 'lesser' teams. as you say we won, but all 1-0 and by no means comfortable viewing. We struggle to break them down where as better teams seem to come to play football and we look better against them. In the 3 years to this date and with very few exceptions, we make hard work of those games. We get early goals aka Barnsley (5-0), we tend to go on and win comfortably, the longer nil nil.......the more poorly we play. But whatever the outcome its nice to still have something to play for at this stage of the season again. Rather our position than that great big club Leeds
Let's do this properly - what's your predictions for the remaining games?

our run in is relatively easy on paper....but how can you predict anything in this league.... weds 3-0qpr....wtf...
Based on my modest betting experiences most weekends, predicting 3 results is hard, so I'm not going to attempt to guess 70........it's in hours hands though, definitely
So the final projected table is:
Leicester = 99
Burnley = 89
Derby = 82
QPR = 80
Wigan = 77
Reading = 77
Brighton = 75
Forest = 73
Ipswich = 65
Have been in a prediction betting thing with my mates for 3 years now. If you get more than 55-60% of those correct you can give yourself a pat on the back!!
Precisely. With 10 games + left there are too many permutations.
With only 1 decent Striker in our squad we have the hardest run in as you put itWho of the contenders has, on paper at least, the hardest run in this season?
I don't imagine for one minute anybody has an 'easier' one that us.
What with only 1 guaranteed top 6 team in our last 11 games.
Yes I know:-
1 chicken, 2 chickens, 3 chickens ...
But I imagine every other top 8 team would swap their Easter programme for Hudderfield, Blackpool followed by Yeovil, having begun with Charlton.
Doesn't stop me doing it
Surely that would only be the case if only 1 player was allowed to score.With only 1 decent Striker in our squad we have the hardest run in as you put it
Conversely, very few teams have out-classed us at home, but Barnsley were comfortably the better side at the Amex this season, in a true Championship style head scratcher of a game.

Looking at that, you've Barnsley making a late bid for the play-offs - UNBEATEN against all the automatic and play-off contenders?
