Well, I’m a bit pissed with it all myself. Just think, transfer deadline day is gonna be so frigging boring.

No last minute “has the fax been sent yet” type musings at all. They need to think of the fans sometimes.

Or, given the surprises pulled out of the bag so far, there's just another surprise waiting to be unveiled....

Best thing about it is how we're prepared to play the long game - both Andone and Jakhanhbhash we'd identified as targets years ago and just kept tailing them till it was possible to do the deal.

That's a club with a strategy to identify and acquire the players it wants and can afford - no panic-buying here these days.

Winstano clearly wants to go on holiday early.

Big thumbs up to Bloom for providing the recruitment team a decent transfer budget

I must admit between our signings and those of my other lot, really, really looking forward to next season....
Just a shame it’s so long to the start of the season....

Whether they're a massive success or not, the recruitment team surely need some credit. The club have identified targets it wants, and believes are good enough, and they’ve gone out and seemingly got them with minimal fuss. That gives them the most time to settle pre-season and gives them time to adapt to CHs ideas. I can’t knock that personally, even if some don’t work out (which can happen for a massive number of reasons).

Like Knockaert.

I’m not sure he’ll leave but I certainly think we will see some tantrums if he doesn’t get any good runs in the first team.

With the €25 initial fee for Ali mentioned by some media outlets proving to be fictitious.

£17m.

Have we got the best recruitment team? I think so.

Amazing work again, if any of the recruitment team read NSC please give yourself a big pat on the back. WELL DONE

:clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2:

Yes, we've got an excellent recruitment team - but the best? The recruitment team that found Tom Cairney and Ryan Sessegnon and has now added Schirrle and is about to add Mitrovic isn't doing badly either!

Still a way to go before we get to congratulate ourselves. I like what has been done to this point but players we want out to sell and players we want to keep to protect before we can relax. Tremendous start but that is all it is currently...

You didn't notice we tried to buy Vincent Janssen on deadline day last year then?
