Sorry I'm not sure what I'm supposed to make of these links. Is it to show that she was really a Brexiter in Remainers clothing? Or that ideologically she fits the bill in terms of actually delivering what the country voted for? Both are valid points but there remains a massive irony in the way things are panning out.

A few here seem to think she is a fully pledge stayer when in fact she has a lot more in common with Brexits and Boris early in the campaign wanted Theresa May to lead Brexit. But she decided to stay in the background which turns out to be a very good move for her.

I wonder how the Brexiters feel about a Remainer leading the negotiations with the EU. It's probably a good comproimise especially with all the Brexiters bricking it and jumping ship.

I'm happy with that. I said on this thread before the election that the leave campaign didn't represent my view. Let's face it, most of the brexit politicians are either nutters or tossers, we need a pragmatist to get the best deal for all of us.

This country jesus christ, now we have an unelected PM who ironically chastised Brown for not calling a GE, that is now in charge of negotiating Brexit but is a remainer and failed at controlling immigration as Home Secretary. Bloody hell.

So the two most senior people in the out camp managed to take one another down in their death throes and this is good?

Depends on how you look at it. I didn't want a committed 'leaver' to take over. Some for me it's good. Other, perhaps not.

I'm sure you will realise this, but she also need to be aware its the remainers that contribute the majority of the revenue for her coffers
Yeah, people should really get more votes when they earn more. It's outrageous that unemployed bums get the same number of votes as CEOs.

She's stopped about a dozen serious terrorist attacks happening in Britain since being Home Secretary. The Lee Rigby murder was terrible but almost unstoppable as it was two nutters not on the radar in Britain.

It keeps both sides happyish but she is one of the protagonist of a flawed policy in the Middle East that has caused the mass migration to Europe. She supported the arming of the so called moderate rebel groups in Syria with US made arms, and then complained when Assad was forced to protect himself and other minority groups from these weapons. She also voted to airstrike Assad and I believe that she supported the removal of Gaddafi.

A democracy where idiots don't vote. Is this possible?
You mean a sort of arrangement where only people who agree with you can vote? Sounds like a form of fascism .........

I can't argue with idiots anymore if they cannot see the point i am making.
No, perhaps you're just not up to it. Maybe you need to consider the possibility that they cant see the point you are making (or trying to) is not because THEY are the idiots. Enjoy your grapes - maybe you should put a bit of sugar on 'em.

We don't elect PMs though. Cameron was not elected either. We elect MPs who then choose the PM.

I am surprised at how many times I've read this since yesterday. It's not as if a Prime Minister hasn't ever changed before without a General Election. Brown took over from Blair, Major took over from Thatcher, Callaghan took over from Wilson.

Not forgetting Churchill!
