Starting a revolution from my bed
I looked around and can’t see top 5 odds, let alone lay betting against a top 5 finish.

The bookies make it a Spurs v Newcastle battle for 5th. Both expensive squads of ‘names’, both with no European distractions. Whilst ManC, Arsenal, Liverpool, Albion, West Ham and Villa will be knackered.
Both also have good managers with very clear styles that their players have bought into.

We’ll have done exceptionally well to finish above either of them. A much harder task than last year given our central midfield is weaker.

Out of interest, do you think we’ll finish above:
Manure
Chelsea
West Ham
Fulham?

If I had to predict, I'd go with something like this:
City
Liverpool
Arse
Villa
United
Newcastle
Spurs
Chelsea
Albion
Ham
We do a fun prediction at the start of each season and IIRC, I went for:
City
United
Liverpool
Arse
Newcastle
Chelsea
Villa
Spurs
Albion
Brentford

We’ve done the same for most seasons, the entire PL placings before a ball’s kicked!

Imho our mini league is with Fulham and West Ham this season, perhaps Chelsea too.

Don’t forget we will lose at least another 3 players in January and February, two of them are our wide players

If we fail to recruit well early in January, then it’ll be a battle. Could see us 4th out of those five (including us). Injuries have seriously hampered us first half of the season. What do you think?

9th for us if no signings by TB.

But RDZ keeps surprising me!

We’re not in a league battle with $$$$ Spuds or the Saudi’s. They have no European football and each time there’s injury a specialist player in their 20’s steps in.

RDZ is contending with some old, slow players and has to innovate with square pegs in round holes.
