Let's hope he hasn't. There is no way losing Sanchez could be anything other than bad news.

Steele should have gotten nearer to their first two goals today. I did wonder at the time whether Sanchez would have done any better and i genuinely feel he wouldn’t have conceded both
Fair play to Steele for the assist. There was a couple of instances on the second half though where he very nearly cost us with a late wayward pass
He’s been ok last few games but I’m not convinced he is overall better than Sanchez.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see Sanchez given a chance again on Tuesday

He had a touch of the Jordan Pickfords today.
Very harsh.
The first Dunk has to attack the ball, down to him.
Second was practically a 1 on 1.
Defensively, we look worse when Colwill and Dunk play together.

I’m not saying he’s was to blame for either, I’m saying I felt he could have done better. I’ll concede on the second having just watched it back but still of the view that Sanchez is a better shot stopper

Dunk did to have to attack the ball for the first, but the header was pretty much at him. I still think Sanchez would have done better for that one.
Interesting you say that about Colwill and Dunk. They weren't up to much today, but I'll await to be convinced by that, they've done very well together in other games.
It was so quick he had no chance. I couldn’t clearly see the third so can’t comment, but we looked overloaded at the back so it was poor….
I don’t agree re the other games, Dunk is constantly on the cover, as Colwill loses shape quite easily (perhaps Dunk isn’t communicating enough I don’t know), but consequently Dunk is getting pulled all over the place.
When they’re together if we’re under pressure, they are exposed, as they play too far apart.

Colwill is good with the ball at his feet, and that seems to be the main criteria for RdZ so fair enough
, I just prefer Dunk and Webster defensively.
He probably is, but apparently a secondary factor in selection.

That was a great moment seeing all the players celebrate with Jason.
Perhaps RDZ thinks that with Jason's superior distribution, we should in theory face fewer shots coming the other way, thus compensating for him not being as good a shot stopper than Bobby. Plus we have far more chance seeing him save a penalty. Probably evens out when all things are considered.
Dare I say it, because it might be considered heresy, but back in the day (pre RDZ) Sanchez used to ping out some pretty decent long passes out to the wide players too.

Do you not feel if he’d tried to kick it away he ran the risk of a ricochet back past him? There seemed a lot of bodies in there.

Yes, my angle is side on, so perhaps you’re right, but would like to see from behind the goal, as it looked tight.
