Whiskey-a-go-go on Queen's Road, Brighton, as famously documented in the 1960s programme 'Living for Kicks' which revealed young people were seriously considering sex before marriage... Yowza!

Joe Lyons - self service cafeterias. One on corner at bottom of St James's street and one up North Street.
Burtons shop doorway at the Clock Tower - popular place to meet your 'date'.
The Gaiety cinema - oh what fun we would have had with that name nowadays !
The narrow entrance into Pool Valley bus station that all the Southdown buses had to negotiate.
Divall's sandwich shop outside the station.

Virgin Records - I think where the club shop now is. Alhambra, Buccaneer, Top Rank Suite.

Virgin Records started off on the Clock Tower corner site where Boots is now(in a converted pub that someone must know the name of) and moved to(about) where the club shop used to be on the other side of the road.
