possible the four crapest songs of the year
Disagree. Worst songs of the decade.
possible the four crapest songs of the year
Rock - Nickelback - Rockstar
R&B - Chris Brown - With You
Indie - Scouting for Girls - She's So Lovely
General - Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love
Obviously I don't know what you like so I just given you what I think have been the best in those genres
All My Friends by LCD Soundsystem.
Can I just add that Scouting for Girls are the shittest band I've heard for YEARS. Someone needs to have a word at XFM becuase god only knows how they have made the playlist with thier vanilla sounding crap.
Calling them Indie is an insult to the Stone roses and the like.
Dont wanna die - My Federation
The Hold Steady - Chips Ahoy!
Nick Cave - Todays Lesson
Mystery Jets - Young Love
The Cribs - Don't you wanna be relevant
Vampire Weekend - Cape Cod kwassa kwassa (weird name)
Sorry I can't do one song, so it'll have to be a few. I echo footychicks nomination of Vampire Weekend as well.
Foals - Cassius
Blood Red Shoes - You Bring Me Down
Los Campesinos! - You! Me! Dancing!
Fake Empire by The National.
Dunno if it came out this year, but it is utterly stunning.
In fact, anything by The National. Heroic music.
All My Friends by LCD Soundsystem.
Stereophonics - My Friends
MGMT - Time To Pretend
Maximo Park - Our Velocity
Laura Veirs - Saltbreakers
Correct...
Ready for the Floor by Hot Chip (and the b side is even better), Heath vs Crystal Castles - Crimewave, Heart Rate Rapid by Metronomy or Metronomy's remix of DNTEL - The Distance.
Clart.
Oo, Dels Lazy was quite good too.
Vampire Weekend - Cape Cod kwassa kwassa (weird name)
Quite like the Hot Chip track, can't think who the bloke sounds like though - something 80's/90's
What about Utah saints? thats a catchy tune!
And a cracking dance
Saltbreakers is a nice enough tune but nope

I was dancing to that in 1992...
