Oi, it's a music thread - my specialist subject. Don't put me in the BG (I love Adele and ELO) category. I simply reckon Bowie's music from the undeniably, critically derided at the time, Tin Machine era and much that followed, is less likely to played for an enjoyable hour listening and remembering the genius that was David Bowie, once a few years from now has gone by.
Apart from a flurry of posts just past mine, most peoples favourites are from the sixties, seventies and eighties. Personally, my favourite is John, I'm only Dancing for which I still have the 12" vinyl. And I don't just go for music that isn't a more challenging listen. After all, one of my favourite Neil Young albums is Tonight's the Night. Hardly middle of the road. So yes, this thread's for me too!
