Not sure Coventry is quite as cosmopolitan as Hamburg (or Brighton) hope he settles in well!

Coventry’s lovely, a really interesting mix of old and new, necessitated by German carpet bombing during the war. The cathedral is an amazing example of this.

Anyway, are Coventry playing in Coventry this season, or are they still travelling to Birmingham?

One of my best mates used to play for Cov (but back in the hartson, chipo, saffri, hadji, Shaw, Williams era) and most of the players lived outside Coventry - leamington spa was popular - which is a very nice place.

A couple used to live in my street in Kenilworth. As it mostly a Rugby town here, hardly anyone knew who they were.

Excellent club. Excellent loan. He should see a bit of action defending for them this season.

Great move for him! Championship is a great testing ground for loanees. Hopefully he can do as well as Clarke, Molumby and of course Ben White.

Just so this post can be bounced in a years time... Yes we are very aware of who Leo Ostigard is, this loan is part of his development, he is part of our future plans, and no <insert club name here> you cannot buy him.

So Bold Seagull where are you at with this, do you agree with it, not?

We don't want any more confusion in 12 months time.

Coventry play st St Andrews (Birmingham City) on a ground share. Training ground at Ryton (between Cov & Rugby). Lots of choices where to live with Coventry being the least likely

Used to spend a fair bit of time up there, plenty of nice areas within 30mins or so

I can't possibly know. Nor could I know about any loans that haven't appeared in the Brighton first team. All I can do is pose questions and give opinions. Given none of our CBs have left the club [yet], and presumably we aren't in the market for more with White coming back in, then it would seem a good move. If we did sign a £20m CB in the next week or so, and at the end of next season Ostigard is being valued at £25m and chased by a host of PL clubs, I might ask why we didn't keep him now and spend the £20m elsewhere. :p

There's a bizarre medieval street though. It looks untouched from the 15th century ... until you find out that they've moved buildings from other streets and created a single whole out of many parts.

Massive, massive season for him coming up. Will certainly give GP and the team a much better idea for the future too.

I dunno, he's 20 (21 in November). He is still VERY young for a CB. Definitely a chance for him to make a real statement but we seem to be playing a long game with our youngsters.

A good loan for him, the Championship is the ideal place for our youngsters
